Paranormal Investigation Rules

Perryville Battlefield allows for the investigation of paranormal activities on park grounds by special use permit. Reservations must be made in advance at least two weeks prior to the date you are requesting. To obtain this permit the following information is required: name of group, person in charge of group, address, phone number, and driver’s license number of each group member.
Fee Schedule
- 1-10 individuals for 6 hours - $250.00
- Additional individuals - $25 per person
- Additional access time may be granted by park staff - $25.00 per additional hour
In order to book your event and receive the special use permit, the group leader should fill out the required information contained on the booking sheet and have each group member read and sign the release of liability, hold harmless agreement and indemnity; there is a separate one for minors. Read and keep the park user rules. In order to receive the special use permit, return the booking sheet and an executed copy of the release/waiver for each person in the group, as well as, the total fee for the event. The permits will be mailed to the address listed on the booking sheet.
Keep your individual permit on you at all times while on the park during your scheduled event. You may be stopped and asked to produce the permit by either park staff, local law enforcement or a park ranger. Place the parking permit in the dash of a vehicle so it visible.
Only one paranormal group will be scheduled per night. In the event of a scheduling conflict with other park programming, you will be given the option to reschedule your date.
Park User Rules, Restrictions and Regulations
- Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
- All users must act in a respectful, orderly manner.
- Anyone caught with a metal detector will be subject to immediate arrest.
- Littering is prohibited. Place all garbage in cans provided throughout the park.
- Park only in designated parking areas. Driving is only allowed on paved areas
Do not drive on trails.
- Injuring or removing plants is prohibited.
- Injuring or removing wildlife is prohibited.
- Defacing park property is prohibited.
- Dogs running at large are prohibited.
- Building fires is restricted to existing park grills.
- Using wood from the park for fires is prohibited.
- Use of motorcycles, three or four wheelers or any off road vehicles is restricted to park paved roads and with a licensed driver.
- Discharge of firearms is prohibited.
- Use of fireworks is prohibited.
- No commercial filming or commercial still photography is allowed without prior contractual agreement.
- Access is limited to only the park grounds and does not entitle anyone access to any building, structure, or any other areas of the park that are restricted to the public for safety and security reasons.
- No group will charge other persons to attend their group’s investigation for more than the scheduled price.

No refunds will be issued. Rain dates are honored within 30 days of the original date.
