Perryville Interpretive Panel Project Complete!
The Friends of Perryville partnered with the Blue Gray Education Society to provide the funding to replace over 24 interpretive panels currently on the trail system. The panels were in a very deteriorated condition and many of them were not legible. This effort began over two years ago when the Blue Gray Education Society made an offer to partner with the Friends and help raise the funds to replace the signs. It has been a tremendous success and we can happily report that the final sign order has been placed and the panels should arrive and be installed at the park within the next couple weeks! Huzzzahhh for all those who made the effort to help on this project! We also want to acknowledge the park staff who spent countless hours working on the text and images – especially Kurt Holman who went above and beyond duty to get this project finished!
